Today sees the tour to York with the use of EPS (Eurostar) Class 37s heading the tour through a rainy Banbury on 1Z37. 47805 was also on the rear which was a bonus! All running ontime!

Here are a few photos taken at Rugby. 47802 being the highlight. Also 86501 turned up on a class 90 working. Few other bits and bobs. Thanks to Micheal Wright for the laughs! :D
23rd February 20076Z80 at Honeybourne and GWML Misc. - 23/02/07
Today was spent getting 66092 at Honeybourne with the stock from MoD Long Marston. A very early 6Z80! Userally a Cotswold Rail 47 on these duties. Rumours that Cotswold Rail are coming to an end of contract to move stock from/to MoD Long Marston. This was an EWS move, which could be for EWS drives route learning on the line for when they begin. Also some MTU action at Didcot along with 2 extra EWS "Sheds" I needed. Also a few "Freds" in Banbury!
20th February 20075Z88 and Banbury Misc - 20/02/07
Today saw the very late 5Z88 MoD Kineton - Eastlleigh Mk2 stored stock move. GBRf Medite liveried 66 no.66709 leading ex-Virgin stock and one ex-Anglia Railways Mk2 stock about an hour late through Banbury at 12.05. Also some other bits, Chiltern Units and 4O54 Leeds - Southampton Freightliner.
19th February 2007Clapham and GWML - 19/02/07
A quick trip over to Clapham to get the stabled 47s before they will be moved. Also tractors at Didcot! Stabled from the last min diversion to Didcot yesturday from the Bard and Birch tour on the 17th Feb. Also 66145 and 66139 at Didcot Station Yard. EWS 66145 with the BnB MK2 stock ECS to OOC. Overall a good afternoon out.

Today saw 60051, 60008 coupled with 66007, and 60054 working the 6B33 Theale - Robeston. Also 57004 working the 4O51 Cardiff - Millbrook. Also a few sheds and freds! Enjoy
23rd October 2006 FortySeven 703 + 709 and Misc - 23/10/06
Today saw the ECS INTERCIRY MerryMaker working the 5Z56 Paddington - Derby at Harrow with 47703 (Leading) and 709 (Dead on the rear). Also 59101 with the 7L56. 57008 with 4L93 caught twice! DBSO no.9701 at Stratford. Also GBRf class 66 no.66713 on the 6M8 - Bins. A great day out. Thanks to Gez, RJ Hamilton! Also James Welham for headcode info!
22nd October 2006Random Hellfire! - 22/10/06
On quite a rainy South Oxfordshire, on a Sunday saw some very good locos. 60092 and 60041 on diverted steel trains. Also ex 5Z55 Worcester - Oxford stabled in the North Sidings, saw 47245 and 33025 with a WRC charter train. Enjoy the photos. Comments are welcome, remember keep then clean and to the point!

A good day in South Oxfordshire was made. Seeing the likes of newly liveried 166220 and 166212 in "Neon". Also loads of "Shed" action with additonal workings!

Today 67006 was leading the EWS Managers Train, 67029 on the rear. EWS class 66 no.66001 was on the 4O26 Burton on Trent-Southampton Intermodal. Also taken on the 13th October 2006 66152 and 66186 was on the 6B24 Didcot yard - Cardiff Wentloog doubleheaded, passing Oxford. More photos soon!!!
11th September 2006Great London Ramblings - Part 2 - 11/09/06
The second part the Great London Ramblings see's DVT no.82101 in Ex-Virgin livery with 87006 on the rear. 66711 was on the GBRf Northbound through Harrow. "Skip" 67027 was used on the 185 drag. 185136 was also cought in the consist. 90042 on the Southbound Frieght train. A rare/unknown movement saw 31128 running Northbound at Harrow most likely going to Derby RTC. 86501 was working a liner Northbound. Please comment on any photo. 11th September 2006Great London Ramblings - Part 1 - 11/09/06
A great day in London sees firstly 67006 and 67005 on 5Z44 Crewe - Kings Cross. Also Metronet (or "Metroned" as some called them!) class 66 no.66719 passing light engine through Alexandra Palace on the down-slow. 57002 on a liner at Harrow aswell as 90043 and 66161 on Engineers.

Oxford saw 67005 working the 5Z40 Old Oak Common - Crewe Northern Belle ECS. "Queens Messenger" has become quite a regular on the Northern Belle movements in the past week. 60020 was at Didcot parked up. Also 66091, 66070, 66170 were caught at Didcot. Enjoy...

Today saw EWS "Skips" on the VSOE "Northern Belle" train from Oxford - Chester. Nos 67005 (front) + 67017 (rear) was working the 1Z63 ontime through Banbury.
6th September 2006Failed Serco at Banbury - 06/09/06
The Serco Test train that formed of 31190 and 31602 working the 4Z10, failed at Banbury and could just about make it into the Banbury Up-Goods line. Here are some photos of the train. It was on a working to OOC from Derby.
30th August 200620308 + 37069 - London Day Out - 30/08/06
A trip to London saw 20308 nad 37069 working the 4M95 through Brompton. 57007 was captured at Stratford on 4L93. Camden Road saw 66079, 237 and GBRf 66716 working 4M23. Also some bits from Willesden Jn and Willesden Crossing. A great day. Thanks to Tom, Gez and Micheal who made the day worth while!
28th August 2006Midland Mainline HST Voyager Reaplacement - 28/08/06
Today saw the use of a Midland Mainline (MML) HST set replacing a Virgin Voyager. This was due to the Reading Rock Festival 2006 and low seating compacity of Voyagers. This was the best option for Virgin. It is belived that this was the first Passenger HST service since 2004! It was the working 1V36 Derby - Reading.

A trip to my local saw 47811 working light to M.o.D Kineton to pick up Mk3 stock. Unfortunatly the return was missed, but still 47811 working light was worth it! Also a few "freds" on freight workings through Oxford.

A trip to the Capital was made with gez. We started off from Marlybone, then to Kings Cross to get a clag out a GNER HST and a class "67" acting as a Thunderbird. Then from Kings Cross, we went on the Angia line to Stratford where 66707 working the 4M23 ( 030, 065, 517, 707 all being being a new locos for Southern Network). Another highlight was the very last two Anglia DBSOs in service. A great day and lots of laughs, bit too hot though!
12th July 2006Didcot July 2006 - 12/07/06
A trip to Didcot was made today with Gez. Highlights were DRS 66407 working a hired service for Freightliner. FGW HST number 43188 gave a massive clag, and talk about being unexpected! A rare working saw EWS 67014 working "light" on the up mains. Locos included were, 66015, 57007, 66019, 66092, 66156 and 66243. This collection also see's the new Network Rail "Skateboard" engineers train running light! A great day out and loads of laughs, again! (For the year!)
11th July 2006Serco Week (Banbury) - 11/07/06
0Z10 worked Crewe - Derby RTC on the 10th July 2006. A working then happened from Derby RTC - Old Oak Common (which was 4Z10) and was captured at Banbury Sidings. The formation was 37608 leading, 72630 (mk2), 999606 (mk1), 72631 (mk2) and 37605 on the rear. Also the Network Rail class 150 DMU made an appearence while working the 2Z08 on the 06th July. It arrived at Banbury at 16.37 on the 06th July, and departed at 09.12 on the 07th July. Overall a good amount of Serco Test Trains!
8th July 2006Start of July Misc. - 08/07/06
This collection includes 66177, 66137, 66204, 66197 and 66039 on a Convoy at Banbury just after the Heyford derailment of a freight train that was on a liner. Also a few nameplates off GBRf 66715 and 66716. Also the Virgin West Coast service at Coventry which included 87002 in Porterbrook livery pushing the train to London Euston, with DVT no.82126 leading 1B05
7th July 2006Great Hellfire Misc - 07/07/06
What a collection in store! Today was spent in Rugby with Brooksie, Gez, James and Mick. 57010 was caught on a liner. The Virgin Pendolino (029) was seen with promo livery. 87002 was at Coventry with a Virgin service for London Euston. The great unexpected highlight was 5 EWS class 66s in Convoy in Banbury! A great day had by all, again!
5th July 2006London Trip - 05/07/06
A day trip to London was made today with Gez and Nick L. The highlight was the 1Z14 working a Serco Test Train from Hither Green LHS - Selhurst. The train formed of two tractors, 37609 leading and 37611 tailing. We captured 1Z14 at Clapham Junction and was about 14 mins late. Also alot of other EMU traction. Enjoy...
29th June 200657601 + Inspection Saloon - 29/06/06
Just a few shots of 57601 working the 2Z01. This was doing the Stafford - Crewe Inspection Saloon. It passed Banbury at 9.12am (7mins late) and will be doing a jouney back up to Crewe. 33103 hauled 2Z01 yesterday doing the Wellingborough-Derby
route, but WRC used there famous 57601

Here are some photos taken from Kings Sutton. The only freight workings include, 4M55 with a liner through Kings Sutton at 11.30. Also alot of Passenger action that includes, 165107, 168110 and some plasitc Voyagers on CrossCountry services.
26th June 2006Rugby Day Out - 26/06/06
A trip to Rugby was made today to get 5Z53 worked by EWS class 37's nos. 33417 and 406. It was the movement from Crewe to Old Oak Common, and was 16mins late at Rugby. Also included is 57010, 66401, 66055, 66577, 66716 and the all new 66411. After 57010 had worked the 4M94, it ran light on the return, and so did 92001. Also photos from Rugby north Bay...

22nd June 2006Ascot Runs - 22/06/06
Today was spend finding 1Z20 and 1Z22. Also a few Freightliner class 66s on Intermodals. Anyway back to the stock movements. The 1Z20 was worked by EWS 67018 with Northern Belle stock. The EWS Managers class 67 no. 67029 was used to work the 1Z22.

A short trip to Reading was made. A few nise shots of the Hanson class 59. Also again, more HST action at peak hour. The Hanson class 59 was "Village of Chantry", it has been a rumour that this nameplate has been on there for over 10 years, since the days of ARC.

Today was time to make a trip to Rugby. Met up with Brooksie, Gezza and James Power. The two highlights were Fastlines 56s coupled together to work the 4O90 and the Virgin test runs using 87006. Along with the likes of 57005 working the 4M94, and 66709 working 4M23, not to mention GBRf with 66712, and 92003 working the EWS 6A42.
25th May 200631105, 31106, 43009 and misc - 25/05/06
A trip was made today to get the Network Rail Test train passing Oxford. The train was working the 4Z07 from Derby - Old Oak Common. The locomotives were 31105 (Network Rail yellow livery) leading the train, and 31106 (Fragonset black livery) on the rear. Another highlight was 43009 in the new "noen lights" livery for First Great Western.

A trip was made today so get the EWS Managers Train working the 1Z05 from London Paddington. DVT no. 82146 was leading the train, while silver EWS class 67 no. 67029 was pushing the train.
